Fresh Swedish Mushrooms

We’ve recently started working directly with a Swedish supplier, Wermlands Skogsförrad AB, with their premium-quality mushrooms.

Established in 1995, Ola Hultman started the business with a focus on supplying high-quality forest mushrooms. All their mushrooms are bought from private individuals and handled by a team of knowledgeable staff. In comparison to Eastern European mushrooms, these Swedish mushrooms have a richer, fresher forest aroma and more moisture.

They pride themselves on their premium-quality mushrooms, as they only work with experienced pickers who have been trained in supplying healthy mushrooms. They currently have a yearly turnover of 120–200 tonnes of wild mushrooms and are supplying Michelin-starred restaurants in Sweden, Copenhagen, Oslo, Zurich, Basel, Paris, Toronto, London, and New York.
