La Hulotte Chocolate Mousse 🍫
At 29 rue Dauphine, the chef of La Hulotte prepares a Chocolate Mousse that will go on to become famous in the whole of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It is in such demand that, over the years, the restaurant becomes a factory for artisanal desserts. The range expands with the arrival of the Gourmandes Charlottes and the authentic Tiramisu.
In 2014, La Hulotte updated Le Fontainebleau, a 17th century gourmet recipe that is made with fromage blanc and thick cream, and it is a real success. Today La Hulotte is in Villebon-sur-Yvette, not far from the Chevreuse Valley, in a specially adapted site of 2000 m².
LA MOUSSE AU CHOCOLAT
As gastronomic guides and critics have testified for more than 20 years, La Hulotte has delighted restaurant customers with its traditional dishes. They are also the great cream makers of Paris with their inimitable Chocolate Mousse.
Professional pastry chefs make the mousse from scratch, by hand every day using artisanal techniques rather than industrial machinery you would find in large hotels and restaurants.
The chocolate mousse contains no preservatives and is made the traditional way, containing simple ingredients of chocolate, fresh Montague butter, Isigny cream and Ferme de Pré free-range eggs.
La Hulotte are members of a chocolate foundation which means that they pay a fair price for the chocolate and some of the money goes back into supporting the local community where it grows.
Inspired by pastry chef Antonin Carême, we are also excited to supply their Crème Madame - a creamy mascarpone cream in French bourbon vanilla, lemon meringue and ardèche chestnut flavours, as well as their Petit Fontainebleau and Petit Tiramisu in original and lemon flavour.
